E-Journals Trivia Question WINNER (Week #2)
Ms. McIntire and this week’s other entrants identified several promising articles based on the rough information provided by the professor in the question.
- Chan, E. D., Heifets, L., & Iseman, M. D. (2000). Immunologic diagnosis of tuberculosis: A review. Tubercle and Lung Disease, 80(3), 131-140.
- This article is a great match based on the professor’s description. It’s published in Tubercle and Lung Disease which is the previous title for the journal now called Tuberculosis. You can get information on previous and alternate journal titles from the E-Journals webpage by searching for a journal title or from the Library Catalog.
- This article can be accessed in electronic full-text from Himmelfarb Library; both Tubercle and Lung Disease and Tuberculosis are available online from Himmelfarb Library.
- Flynn, J. L. (2004). Immunology of tuberculosis and implications in vaccine development. Tuberculosis, 84(1-2), 93-101.
- This article matches some aspects of the article that the professor described, but doesn’t have much information on the diagnosis aspect.
- This article can be accessed in electronic full-text from Himmelfarb Library.
- Pollock, J. M., Buddle, B. M., & Andersen, P. (2001). Towards more accurate diagnosis of bovine tuberculosis using defined antigens. Tuberculosis, 81(1-2), 65-69.
- This article is also a good match for some aspects of the article that the professor described. It’s about TB in cattle, but perhaps that’s the professor’s area of study.
- This article can be accessed in electronic full-text from Himmelfarb Library.
