Access for University students and Consortium students enrolled in Medical Center classes

Any GW students enrolled in Medical Center classes, but who are considered primarily University affiliates (e.g. students in forensic sciences), do not currently have automatic access to Himmelfarb Library. Professors must provide the library with a list of these students each semester so that they can receive semester access passes.

Non-GWU students from the Local Area Consortium do not normally have access to Himmelfarb Library. In order for these students to be able to use the Library, professors must provide the library with a list of their names each semester so that semester access passes can be issued to them. Please submit student lists to the Circulation Manager, Kathleen Lyons, at mlbkml@gwumc.edu or via fax at (202) 994-4343.

Consortium students are eligible to receive GWorld cards, which will facilitate their entry into Ross Hall. Refer them to the GWorld Office in Room 501 of the Marvin Center.

Access for University students working for Medical Center departments

University-affiliated students who work at the Medical Center do not have automatic access to Himmelfarb Library. Departmental administrators are responsible for providing lists of such students to Himmelfarb Library so that those students can receive semester access passes. Please submit student worker lists to the Circulation Manager, Kathleen Lyons, at mlbkml@gwumc.edu or via fax at (202) 994-4343.
