Community Organizations

If you are interested in working with an ISCOPES team and have a key staff member who is able to actively serve as a Community Coach, please contact the ISCOPES Director. Or, if you are currently affiliated with ISCOPES and would like to recommend a community organization for participation, please contact the ISCOPES Director with the contact information for the organization, an overview of its program and services, and a brief statement as to why the organization could be a strong partner with ISCOPES.

Community Coaches

Faculty Coaches

If you are interested in learning more about the advisor role or to sign-up for a year of service, contact the ISCOPES Director.

Students         

1. Learn more about each of the community partner organizations and teams by viewing the descriptions online under the “Community sites and teams” link.  


2. Sign up online by completing the brief online application found either here or on the ISCOPES home page (a tab on the right side of the screen). The application consists of your contact information and your top three team preferences. There is space for additional information to be noted. Every effort is made to honor one of your preferences. However, in order to ensure the effectiveness of each team, teams are limited in size and must include a range of disciplines. Thus, cases might arise where a student is assigned to a team that was not one of his or her top three preferences. 

   Sign ups for the 2011-2012 year will open on August 17, 2011 and will close on September 7, 2011 at 11:59 pm. If you are interested in joining after this point, you must contact the ISCOPES Director to see if there are any available spaces and then complete the online sign up form.

3. If you are interested in applying for a program representative position, please indicate this when you sign up. If you want to apply after signing up for ISCOPES, simply contact the ISCOPES Director. Positions will be filled in September and following as needed. After all positions are filled, the ISCOPES Director will keep all interested students’ names on file, notifying these students should a new position open up.
