There is no charge for two-hour study tours, and we require a minimum of two weeks' advance notice. Longer or more complex tours require one month notice and must be paid for by the hour to cover coordination expenses and faculty time. Medical Institutions
- How can health care facilities abroad collaborate with GWUMC?
- We welcome inquiries in writing, addressed to Ms. Huda M. Ayas, Executive Director. Please describe the type and scope of collaboration envisioned and provide background information about your institution. Sufficient resources and a track record of adherence to the highest standard of patient care, research, and/or education are prerequisites. We will then mutually decide upon next steps if we determine that GWUMC can be of assistance.
- All collaborative programs must be formalized through a letter of agreement which spells out, in detail, the scope, goals and objectives, terms, and conditions of the program. Agreements govern all aspects of the program and include project budgets and, in some cases, addenda related to specific projects. All of these documents are developed, drafted, and approved by both parties. We take pride in honoring our agreements with partner institutions, and make every effort to bring maximum benefit to our partners in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
