Sharon Cardash

Homeland Security Policy Institute (HSPI)
Sharon Cardash serves as HSPI's Associate Director, Research and Education. In that capacity, she helps manage and lead the Institute’s policy research and education initiatives. Prior to joining HSPI, she served as security policy advisor to Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. Cardash has co-authored numerous reports, articles and testimonies on a range of homeland security issues including, most recently, NETworked Radicalization: A Counter-Strategy. She holds a law degree (J.D.) from the University of Toronto and a Master's degree in international relations from the University of Cambridge.
