GWU Email

As a registered GW student you are entitled to a GW email account. It is required that you use this account. Distance education students will need to establish a GWU email account in order to access the Blackboard Learning Management system.

Once you have a GW email account, you may also enjoy the convenience of GWU's online mail application, called Colonial Mail. Colonial Mail permits you to access your email from virtually any internet connected computer with a web browser.
