The Center on Aging, Health, & Humanities
The Center on Aging, Health, and Humanities is an interdisciplinary center that provides education and research on both the problems and potentials of aging, with the goal of improving the quality of life for older adults and their families. The center particularly encourages research that helps understand creativity in later life, as well as the use of creative problem solving as a tool to address social and physical challenges associated with aging.

Washington DC Area Geriatric Education Center Consortium
Established on a five-year, $2 million grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration, the Washington DC Area Geriatric Education Center Consortium (WAGECC) aims to improve the health, quality of life, and potential of older persons, particularly those in underserved areas. Through interprofessional education in the humanities and arts, as well as support to health care professionals, faculty, and students, WAGECC is helping to strengthen the geriatric workforce and increase its ability to provide patient-centered care.
