Military Program
Health Science Laboratory Technology Associate of Science Degree Program

The Associates of Science (A.S.) in Health Science Laboratory Technology (HSLT) program is designed for entry-level military personnel who have completed our 60-hour Health Science Laboratory (HSLT) certificate program through our contract with the U.S. Army or Navy.

This degree program is NOT part of the contract. Students admitted to the A.S. program act as independent entities and are responsible for any fees incurred (i.e., application, registration, and graduation) while pursuing the degree.

To apply to the A.S. program, use the Apply Online Now link. Transcripts should be sent to the Health Sciences Office of Admissions -- NOT GW Undergraduate Admissions. The Health Sciences Office of Admissions address is provided within the online application.

Students have five years to complete the Associate’s degree from the time they complete the certificate training through the military.

Please wait until you have completed the entire certificate program before submitting your application for admission to the A.S. degree.
