Students must record 750 to 800 hours of clinicals with an approved preceptor. FNP students are encouraged to find their own preceptor, but the department can provide information on local clinical sites if needed. Preceptor and site information must be submitted to the department for approval before a student's clinical work can begin, and a faculty member will conduct a site visit at some point during your rotations.
