Doctor of Nursing Practice Program
On behalf of all the nursing faculty, I am writing to say that we are so excited to welcome you to the Doctor of Nursing Practice program. We feel that our program encompasses the curricular elements set forward by the Association of American Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and at the same time incorporates values within in the mission and vision of The George Washington University nursing program.
We feel our program is unique because of its distance education format combined with mentoring during the clinical research project. This enables students to complete course work that reflects the AACN goals and at the same time focus on their own clinical interests for their final project.
