Soo Bang , CCRC, MHSA

Assistant Professor

Soo Bang is the Director, Investigator-Initiated Research (IIR), Contracts & Outsourcing for Pfizer. Her responsibilities include the development and implementation of robust and efficient processes for contracting and budgeting for all US and world wide IIR projects. Prior to joining Pfizer, Soo was the Senior Director for the New York City Health & Hospitals Corporation (HHC), where she oversaw the new Office of Clinical and Health Service Research, which served the 11 acute care public hospitals, clinics and long-term care facilities of New York City. Her previous positions included: Director, Clinical Research Center, Winthrop South Nassau University Health System Clinical Trials Network and Director, Office of Clinical Trials at NYU School of Medicine. Prior to joining NYU, she was a senior consultant with the Clinical Research Consulting Team at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Her consulting experience had focused on strategic planning and the review of research compliance for academic medical centers and teaching hospitals. She is a contributing author to the PricewaterhouseCoopers Institutional Review Board Reference Book. She received her B.A and Masters in Health Services Administration from The George Washington University and completed her administrative fellowship at Johns Hopkins Health System and Hospital. Ms. Bang is the President of the New York Metropolitan Chapter of ACRP.
