Post-Master's ANP Certificate (on-campus)

The Post-Master's Adult Nurse Practitioner Certificate program introduces students to the body of knowledge and skills necessary to practice as a nurse practitioner. Tailored for MSN-prepared nurses looking for an on-campus curriculum, the ANP Certificate program gives students access to interdisciplinary faculty members from the internationally renowned GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

The course work includes didactic and clinical experiences that focus on the primary care needs of patients, families and communities. Program content includes advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology, advanced health assessment and diagnostic reasoning, and diagnosis and management of common primary care health concerns. It provides the theoretical and practical foundations for nurses to expand their scope of practice.

For master's-prepared nurses in the Washington, D.C., area, the ANP Certificate program offers an uncomparable and challenging educational experience.
