Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate

Program Requirements

The FNP Certificate Program is a 30-credit program admits for the fall semester only. The deadline for applications is May 30. Applicants must have a Master of Science in Nursing to be eligible for admission. They must choose one of the following options:

Option 1: General Track

Students under Option 1 are master's-prepared nurses who are not currently certified as nurse practitioners or a nurse midwives. These students are required to take the following courses:

Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate (115Kb)

Option 2: Advanced-Standing Track

Students under Option 2 are master's-prepared nurses who are currently certified as nurse practitioners or a nurse midwives. These students are granted 13 credits of advanced standing and are required to take the following courses:
