The Secondary Field of Study program enables undergraduate students enrolled in other GW schools to apply for a secondary field of study in Health Sciences.

The courses that comprise secondary fields of study reflect the interrelatedness of many disciplines, and are designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the selected field. The inclusion of a secondary field in a program of study provides students with a broad view from which to prepare for advanced study or the first stage of a career.

Students interested in pursuing a secondary field of study in Health Sciences should review the curriculum with the academic advisor in their home school, complete the form provided and bring it to the designated faculty member in health sciences for review and approval. The form is then returned to the academic advisor in their home school.
