GW's Health Sciences programs offer both online and on-campus degree programs. Through the latest technologies and best practices, we seek to provide the highest quality academic experience for all GW students whether they are on campus or across the world. Our online degree programs are geared toward working professionals seeking to advance their careers. Without ever setting foot on campus, our distance learners graduate with diplomas and transcripts identical to those of their on-campus counterparts. And, as a part of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, local, national, and global students can expect to earn a high-quality education grounded in the rigorous coursework for which GW is known.

GW uses the Blackboard platform for both online and on-campus courses. Online courses are particularly flexible, enabling students to participate at any time during a seven-day, 24-hour time period, with each class "session" typically lasting one week.
