Colorectal Cancer Symptoms

There are no symptoms of colorectal cancer while it is in the early stages, which is why screening is critical. With advanced cancers, symptoms might include:

  • changes in bowel habits, such as diarrhea, constipation or a narrowing of the stool that lasts for more than a few days;
  • abdominal cramps;
  • Weight loss;
  • a feeling that you need to have a bowel movement even after doing so;
  • weakness and tiredness; or
  • bleeding from the rectum or blood in the stool
Just because you have these symptoms does not mean you have cancer, but you need to see your doctor to be sure. It is also possible to have colorectal cancer and not have any symptoms.

ln order find colorectal cancer in its most treatable form, it must be caught before symptoms appear!
