Treatment Options for Colorectal Cancer

If an individual is diagnosed with colorectal cancer, many treatment options are available. The three main types of treatment for colorectal cancer are surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. The right treatment for each person depends on his or her individual case. Working with your doctor and other specialists, you can discuss which of the various treatment options are best suited to your individual needs. The George Washington University Medical Center offers state-of-the-art treatment, tailored specifically to the needs of each patient.
