The Society of Exercise Science Students (SESS)

Our Mission

Exercise Science Majors are an integral part of The George Washington University. We represent a body of knowledge like no other in the GW community because of our understanding of health, fitness, and related diseases. The Society of Exercise Science Students was created with the principles of unity, friendship, and service. These principles help to form the three pillars of The Society Exercise Science Students.

The Three Pillars

  1. Scholarship
  2. Charity
  3. Camaraderie

Our Goals

The three pillars represent the goals of the society. We hope to enhance the scholarship and professionalism of the Exercise Science majors. By unifying the students within the major and inspiring camaraderie with one another, we can help to better represent ourselves on campus. We also hope to provide service to our department and our community.
