Department of Exercise Science

The George Washington University, located in the heart of the nation's capital, provides a unique setting for pursuing a degree in Exercise Science or Athletic Training. Students have the opportunity to participate in many conferences, workshops, seminars, and clinics conducted in the area. Washington's professional societies, businesses, media and school systems all host outstanding speakers and events at local, national and international levels.

Increased national awareness of fitness and sport indicates a growing demand for qualified graduates in Exercise Science.
