Programs
The graduate program in Exercise Science prepares
students for careers in clinical exercise physiology, cardiac rehabilitation,
lifestyle counseling, fitness, or preparation for further study.
The
Master of Science Degree in Exercise Science:
In addition to core coursework, students complete
a specialization in one of two areas:
Many
unique internship opportunities are available at The George Washington
University, including cardiac rehabilitation and The Wellfit Program. Other nearby opportunities include corporate/government
fitness programs (White House Fitness Center, Pentagon Fit to Win
Program, etc.); professional and university sports programs; and
professional organizations.
