Exercise Science Graduate Assistant Opportunities

Exercise Physiology Lab (1 assistantship)

• Familiarity with exercise testing and fitness assessment protocols



• Conduct, under supervision, sub-maximal and maximal exercise tests (fitness and clinical)



• Possess and maintain the technical skills and competencies that are required to operate all of the laboratory equipment (exercise testing systems, treadmills, cycle ergometers, gas analysis systems, pulmonary function testing, blood analyzers, and body composition analysis systems)
  
  
• Troubleshoot technical problems with the equipment and coordinate necessary equipment repairs
  
  
• Order necessary laboratory supplies and maintain the required inventory of supplies
  
  
• Teach undergraduate and physical therapy course exercise physiology labs
  
  
• Work in the Men's Fitness Program and the cardiac rehabilitation maintenance program (LIFE)
