- Attend all designated lectures, conferences,
and grand rounds.
- Attend all Teaching Resident Sessions.
- Attend all weekly Preceptor Meetings. It is imperative that you contact your preceptor on the 1st or 2nd day of your rotation. (Priority)
- Keep log of clinical case experiences.
- minimum of 10 surgical cases
- minimum of 10 outpatient encounters
- minimum of 10 obstetrical cases
- Have competency forms completed by senior
resident (PGY 3,4) or attending
- Pelvic exam
- OB exam in laboring patient
- OB/GYN history
- Acute care assessment in Emergency Room
or Labor and Delivery Triage
- Oral exam with preceptor
- Written exam
- Sign-off on mid-rotation feedback form that
are completed by the Teaching Resident and reviewed
together with the medical student and Teaching
Resident.
