Primary Care Residency Resident's Website |
Welcome from the Primary Care Program Director We have one of the nation's oldest primary care residency programs—over 25 years old and still going strong. It is also one of only a few programs with a continuous year of ambulatory care training. Our residents undergo extensive training in internal medicine and its subspecialties as well as in non-medicine areas such as orthopedics, geriatrics, breast clinic, ENT and dermatology. Medical ethics, community medicine, health policy and evidence-based medicine are important components of the curriculum.
We are proud of our program and faculty—and especially proud of our residents, whose ideas and input continue to shape our program. I look forward to meeting you when you come to interview! April Barbour, MD, MPH Click here, for more details on the Primary Care Track
