The faculty at The George Washington University Medical Center's Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine are engaged in a wide variety of research endeavors. Major areas of interest include: mechanisms of anesthesia, pharmacology, pain management, intensive care, obstetric anesthesia, ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, and resident education.
