TRACK PROGRAM: The Office of Student Opportunities and advisor Dr. Fitzhugh Mullan have made my experience in the Health Policy track incredibly valuable. Through frequent seminars and an extensive database of unique internships, GW students can go above and beyond the general medical school curriculum. The track has greatly enhanced my education. To be involved in health policy, there’s no better place than Washington, D.C.

I had the privilege of being a health policy research intern at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). While there, I co-authored a paper which was presented at a conference where experts from academia , NIH, the pharmaceutical industry, and the FDA discussed some of the thorniest issues in cancer drug development.
