M.D. / Master of Public Health

A 5-year fully accredited joint MD/MPH program offered together with the School of Public Health and Health Services (SPHHS), which offers tracks in primary care, management and policy, epidemiology-biostatistics, environmental and occupational health, international health, health promotion-disease prevention, and maternal and child health. MD/MPH students may begin the MPH program before or after their first year of the MD program. The SPHHS also offers a DrPH degree and PhD programs in epidemiology and biostatistics. Students who do not enter the MD program may still be considered for the MPH or other SPHHS degree programs.
