The George Washington University School of Medicine and St. Bonaventure University in New York have established an eight-year BS/MD program. Students accepted spend four years at St. Bonaventure studying biology. While undergraduates, students complete a summer internship in rural or urban healthcare facilities aiding the underserved. A scholarship for the four undergraduate years is available. Students meeting all requirements have a provisional acceptance to The George Washington University School of Medicine upon graduating from St. Bonaventure University.
