Research Divisions
The Department of Health Care Sciences considers applied research to be an integral component of its overall mission. In addition to their teaching capabilities, members of the DHCS faculty are nationally known for their expertise in aging, mental health, caregiving, spirituality, and effectiveness research.

DHCS faculty participate in collaborative research with other departments within the Medical Center. These activities further expand the scope of the Department's role in health outcomes research. Fellows, residents and students with an interest in research are encouraged to participate in the design and implementation of studies in concert with faculty supervisors.
