Executive Training on Navigation and Survivorship: Finding Your Patient Focus
Description:
The Executive Training on Navigation and Survivorship: Finding Your Patient Focus is a two-day executive training program that equips decision-makers and program leaders with the tools needed to launch and sustain navigation and survivorship programs, two cornerstones of patient-centered care. Participants learn strategic planning techniques for developing, implementing, evaluating and sustaining patient navigation and survivorship programs.
The training combines distance-learning and traditional classroom instruction to fully maximize participants' time. Prior to the in-person training, participants engage in an online webinar discussion that will lay the foundation for the two-day skill development training in Washington, D.C. At the conclusion of the training, participants walk away with a business plan for either a survivorship or patient navigation program that will enhance the patient focus of their organization.
