Educational Interests

My main interests are in the area of biochemistry education both graduate and medical. Currently, I am developing self-instructional modules which may be used in independent learning and/or distance learning. I am also developing an interactive lecture series which can be used over the internet

As associate chair of education, I overlook all of the teaching programs of the department. In addition I am director of the medical biochemistry course which includes planning, managing and teaching 65% of the course. Also, I am director of the allied health biochemistry course-planning, managing and teaching most of the course. I am co-director with Dr. Mark Elliott of the general biochemistry courses (221 and 222).
