Achieving Quality Medicine for Africa
WASHINGTON (April 21, 2009)― The George Washington University (GWU) Africa Center for Health and Human Security and the Global Health Progress hosted a luncheon discussion on “Achieving Quality Medicine for Africa: Resources, Technologies and Policies for the Future.” Several expert panelists kicked off the event with short presentations about the technologies, policies, and training required to improve and he delegation, representing the Ministry of Health from eleven African countries, articulated their priorities when it come to improving access to quality and affordable medicine in Africa.
