Library Purchase Recommendation

The Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library welcomes recommendations from faculty, staff, or students for books, journals, audiovisuals, and software that are appropriate for our collection.

To make a request, fill out the Purchase Request Form as completely as possible and click the"Submit"button.

Books

Requested books are ordered for a short approval period so that the requestor can review the book to confirm that it meets expectations.

Journals

Requests for new journal subscriptions are considered twice a year.

Audiovisuals

Requested audiovisuals are ordered for a short approval period so that the requestor can review the item to confirm that it meets expectations.

Software

Software is purchased selectively due to equipment and budgetary limitations. Departments may be asked to share in the cost of purchasing a program. Requested software is ordered for a short approval period so that the requestor can review the item to confirm that it meets expectations.
