Fees and Services for GWUMC Affiliates
Notice: Beginning February 1 and for the remainder of the Spring 2012 semester, the Himmelfarb Library Interlibrary Loan Department (ILL) is testing a program to assess the feasibility of offering loans at no charge to faculty and students of the Schools of Medicine and HealthSciences (SMHS), Public Health and Health Services (SPHHS) and Nursing (SON). During this time, you will not be charged for non-grant funded ILL requests. If for some reason, we anticipate that a charge to you will be incurred, we will contact you first to determine if you are willing to pay. There is a limit of 15 free requests per user. After that, standard fees will apply.
| Services | Description | Charge per request |

Payment and Obtaining Your Request
Payments can be made in person by cash, check or credit card (for charges over $5.00). Departmental accounts can be billed if the library has authorization to charge Interlibrary Loan fees. Please designate your preferred payment method in the Documents2Go system when submitting your request.
You will be notified by e-mail when the book or journal article you have ordered arrives. Journal articles/books can be picked up at the Circulation Desk, or will be sent to you according to your instructions in Documents2Go.
Please Note: All items ordered must be paid for and payment must be received in full. Patrons who elect the Pay at Pick-up option are responsible for all charges whether or not the item is picked up.
Please do not return Interlibrary Loan books to the Library book drop. Hand it to the Circulation Desk staff.
