GWUMC Research Seminar Series

The Research Seminar Series was developed by the members of the George Washington University Medical Center Committee on Research. The intended purpose for this series is to increase the overall quality of submitted proposals, improve the success rate of funded proposals, and target high priority and program projects supported by private foundations, and government grants including the NIH Roadmap Initiatives. The research highlights for presenting faculty are organized by the topics in the posted schedule and are available on this site. This is a University wide initiative, including faculty from a variety of different schools along with faculty from the Children’s National Medical Center (CNMC) and the Veterans Hospital (VA). As the series moves into the next phase, the Mechanics of Grant Writing, the Mock Study Section and the Advancement Office Roundtable, information will become available on this site.

All seminars are held at 4pm in Ross 227 except for October 15, 2006 “Neuro/Pharmacology” which will be in Ross 101 and all faculty are invited to attend. We hope to extend this series to allow participation by all faculty.

We are asking those attending to complete a quick survey. A copy will be made available at the seminar or you can go online to complete and also reveiw resultsseries to allow all faculty to present their research interests.
