Access Policies

Medical Center faculty, students and staff and all faculty of The George Washington University may use the Library during all open hours. George Washington University students and staff not affiliated with the Medical Center may use the Library between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday only.

Alumni of the George Washington University Medical Center are admitted to the Library from 7:30AM to 6:00PM Monday through Friday. A valid ID from Alumni House (1918 F Street NW) is required for admission. To contact Alumni House, call (202) 994-6435.

Himmelfarb Library is closed to the public.
