Mission Statement

Mission: To meet the information needs of the faculty, staff, and students in the George Washington University Medical Center's educational, research, and patient care programs.

Goals:

1. To provide resources and services that meet users' needs.
2. To provide access to resources not held at the institution.
3. To make available automated information systems which support users locally and from remote sites.
4. To create an educational environment that promotes independent learning and fosters informed users of information and information / educational technologies.
